At kempton park today we discovered Steve from Steve’s stainless had died suddenly whilst on holiday abroad
He has supplied many of us on the forum with good quality & good value stainless steel over the years along with good advice to those of us who needed it
He was instantly recognisable by his jesters hat which he wore at all events
Yes, it was a real shock when I heard this a week or so ago...
I got to know Steve very well due to my high consumption of stainless fasteners over the years and many was the time we chatted about the general state of business/life etc. He was always friendly and gave me good deals on quantity purchases...
One of the 'good guys' I'd say and I'll miss meeting up with him at the shows...Ian
I realised that something was wrong when I saw his pitch was empty. Nice chap, always went to his stall because of the odd things that he sold. He will be missed by many.
