I thought the 'White helmets' bikes that were recently auctioned represented a genuine 'slice of history'...
The last Triumph twins built, the bikes from the last year of the White Helmets display team after a 90 year history and more or less the last bikes in use by the regular armed forces...though I think there may still be a few Hondas used by the SAS etc....
Anyway, it seems some at the auction held the same view....An incomplete bike fetched over £5000 and the remaining complete examples sold for between £9000 and £12000 ....Well beyond what might be achieved from a standard T140...Ian
