As many of you are no doubt aware the 'White Helmets' Royal Signals motorcycle display team has been disbanded this year after its last display in September...I was lucky enough to be invited to a private 'do' organised by L.F. Harris down here in Devon, where the bikes were built, a couple of months back. The team put on a great display and it was good to be able to have a chat with them and look over all the bikes afterwards...

Time rolls on and all that but it's a bit sad really and the end of an era after a 90 year run...

Anyway, a brace of the T140 Tigers used by the team (and NOS spares) are to be auctioned in November by Charterhouse Auctions in Sherbourne, Dorset so if you fancy acquiring a bit of Signals history and one of the last 750 Triumphs ever to be built now's your chance... Ian
