So, last bike fell through as he sold it from under my feet.
Found another abandoned restoration, question is do we think the frame would fit in a Volvo V50 (estate)?
Bit random I know but renting a van to go across Germany ain't cheap!!!

Well if you've got the wheels out, the forks off, the tank off, the frame is approx 3 ft x 2 ft.
If the bike is still all in one piece, with wheels in, you're looking at approx 7ft x 3ft 3" even this way I'd take some tools, remove h/bars, headlight, speedo, tank & possibly front wheel to give you more room.

Buy a bike trailer. I bought a Cooper trailer which are pretty cheap and basic and its lasted 14 years so far and is very handy to have.

It loosely assembled for photos but my plan would be to break it down.
Hear what your saying about a trailer Ferg3.
They strictly enforce speed limits when towing over there so most time efficient inside a vehicle.
So I think we are saying "all broken down should be ok"?

I got an A10 into a Vauxhall Astra many years ago with the both wheels and forks off.

My mum was sick of it being in her garage.

Hi Scott,

I took an M2O in a Honda CR-V.
I don't remember exactly what I took a part, but as far as I remember,
It was with the wheels and all.

I did, of course, fold the back bench to gain more space.
The M20, would fit, I think in your Volve, on it's side, not standing.

Please remember to drain all of the oil out of the oil tank,
As it would flow out through the overflow pipe even if you lean it on the other side.
