Clutch cork probles

HI All

I am having an issue with clutch corks not fitting very well so they are not sealing the clutch and I am getting oil in
Main issue seams to be the outside diameter of the cork seals being a little on the small side
Is there anyone out there who make M20 clutch friction disks that can be used wet or will this cause me more problems

Re: Clutch cork probles

Just a follow up on this but has anyone used modern oil seals instead of the old cork ones

Re: Clutch cork probles

Hello -

I used a generic oil seal. I just typed the words "oil seal" with the dimensions into Ebay and found one easily enough. it's a lipped seal. So far it works well. I'll look through my notes and see if I can find a part number.

Best wishes,

Allan

Re: Clutch cork probles

SRM has a gearbox sprocket nut with oil seal for BSA . But not for our M20

Re: Clutch cork probles

HI Allan

If you could that would be great
So far I have found a 0.87x1.31x0.21 code R21/SC from Simply Bearings
I was thinking of using 2 with a nylon spacer between them
