Are you referring to the two rear mounting springs ?
If you have a later-war 'universal' saddle base (the type with the second, lower cross-rail) then they have a fitting kit for each type of WD machine with varying offsets. Do you have the correct parts for whatever your bike is ?

I have made two ofsets to receive the springs where they meet the frame.But it looks a bit busy. would prefer them to line up properly.The saddle must be wrong. Oh its an m20 plunger.
