Does anyone have any suggestions as to what gasket to use on the petrol tank filler cap? Years ago I fitted a rubber piece from a Kawasaki of some kind but petrol still leaks whenever the tank's anywhere near full.

Robb Nortier from this site had made some leather washers that I was selling on his behalf. I'm out of stock, but you could ask him. Ron

Robb did used to have the leather gasket, but he is currently out of stock,
And for my understanding he put the business away for a while do to relocating.
I do use some of his tolls and are all just great!

I needed some material for my fuel and oil tank,
And ordered some Nitrile Rubber gasket material for Fuel Oil,
Cut it by myself, and it works great !

I did like Noam did, ordered a sheet of that rubber (inexpensive) and cut my own gasket. Works perfectly.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll try both the leather & nitrile rubber. But perhaps the Kwaka gasket on now's nitrile too?
