Look at that, isn't that pretty? I received the new book in the mail today. I would have liked it if it would have had the same size, I am a freak for symmetry.
I'd have preferred it if the machine production tables had returned to the portrait format of the first edition. My thumbed copy of that is the one that I grab first as the later ones are so awkward to read and this time they've gone over to grey print, specially for ageing eyes !
I don't like the typeface of the third edition at all actually. Traditional subjects require serifs !
What additional content has been added to this new edition? There was quite a bit added in the second version, but I guess what I'm asking is: "What is the benefit of buying the new version if I already have the prior two editions?"
