I was recently asked what Would be a paint spec/shade that would have been used on a 1940 Norton 16h contracted and supplied to Canada?
It sprang to mind that I do not remember any specific Canadian contracts, but just that part of some War Office motor Cycles were delivered to the dominion of Canada forces, with newly issued replacement census number having a C prefix for Canada, and being Motor Cycles another C prefix for that category of vehicles.
Therefor it could well be correct that an early wartime light green may be the correct colour for Norton WD16H's? Your ideas, please?
