Hi Henri

The long front fittings on the saddle frame look Norton but its difficult to see from this angle if they point downwards, the extra part its attached too seems to have some components from a bicycle, so the plot thickens?

maybe if the right hand side was folded back under the left hand side it might possibly just make sense?

It is a pre war terry type saddle, missing the rear vertical springs

I not sure if used them, but BSA used this style in the late 20's early 30's

Its a universal part, could be used on almost anything.
