Indian speedo again

I bought one for my Norton 400 electric fits and works ok with my 41 m20 a bit confused with the adds on ebay Does the later M20 still have reverse drive How about the other early BSA singles! I have to get one for the bike to be licenced and don't want to get one driven the wrong way Can you tell by looking at the face of the speedo where the pointer sits. In other words if it looks like the old one should it work like the old one. A lot of adds say Enfield and BSA not very descriptive Thanks for any help Bryon

Re: Indian speedo again

To my knowledge from 1939-46 most bikes had a standard clockwise drive. However for some reason Royal Enfield made a couple of early models with Anti Clock speedos and these are very difficult to find. Ron
