lincoln autojumble

Hi All, Went to Lincoln Autojumble today, (early for me 8am) 3rd stall I stumbled across WW2 7/8 ( complete and in good condition ) canvas throttle assembly just the job for my m20, £2, 2 POUNDS!, Cleaned up a bit and fitted, find of the year so far, Found in a box of rusty crap, There's a lot to be said about getting your hands dirty, Any one got a scruffy L/H grip with rusty ferrules to match, Regards, John.

Re: lincoln autojumble

I found these at a jumble they are 1 inch off a Norton,I have used two of them on 3HWs,these two are spares which I keep when one wears out,the last one lasted about 12 years, although I might use repro ones as they are getting hard to find now,I have found several canvas throttles over the years 7/8 and 1 inch, but have only ever found two 7/8 canvas dummy grips, and they were also found in boxes of rusty bits,so I would say very hard to find, but you never know one might turn up and its fun searching through all those boxes. photo DSC_0017_zpshcrsgvel.jpg
