Re: Sammy miller autojumble

There wasn't much at the Ashdown Camp but there was this lovely Norton Big 4 in the car park, along with Bren gun. Very trusting to leave it on the bike.

Does it belong to someone on the forum?

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

Yes I'd guess Dave Walters (Gloucester). I sold him the side brackets for the Vokes filter. He's definitely tarted it up since I last saw it in Normandy. He did the Arbothnot trial on it years ago and got it airborne. Ron

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

That's good if it's in Gloucester, I might get to see it around again, I've never seen if about before. It looks like loads of fun to run about on.

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

I'll email you his phone number Horror. He'll be pleased to hear from you I'm sure. His son is a great fellow too and rides a G3L. Ron

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

You will be looking for a long time as Dave lives just north of Worcester. JT

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

Well it's only about 30 miles from Gloucester. Easy for a man on a Norton Ron

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

Last year at the "Wartime in the Vale" show near Evesham Dave lead the motorcycle run on his big4 which I sadly missed but was apparently very good.

Re: Sammy miller autojumble

Wartime in the Vale is at Ashdown camp, which is where this Militaria jumble was. It's probably not far for him and great to see a Big 4 being used as transport and not just in a parade etc. Thanks for the info you sent Ron.
