Some of you know I'm busy pulling dynamo's apart & trying to put them back together...
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to test an old field coil before putting it back into a cleaned body? Same question about the Commutator? - *OR* is it a case of always replace with new?
I dont want to clean all the bits up & re-assemble them, only to discover later that the internals are all dud :-/
