Strange that the AA would camouflage their combinations,this photo shows some being sprayed.

I would have thought that riding around on a bright yellow outfit during the war would not have been very wise.

Bright Yellow was definitely not a good idea but the Armed forces usually stuck to one colour for motorcycles, so actual camouflage was a bit excessive I would have thought. More work, more fuel and more paint to do the job at a time when they were all restricted.
