My pal came round to visit today on his just completed 920cc Norton Commando...Very pretty I thought after its rebuild from a partially complete 'basket case'....Ian
yes that is a very pretty and practical bike, I have a Commando left the factory June 1968, I am waitiong to get it painted and hope to get it back on the road this year following a 20 yr layoff in the back of the shed. kind regards
It's not my fault, Rob, it's Nortons. Mine is a '75 with a rear disc and apparently if both discs were on the same side, they went round in ever-decreasing circles under braking effectively imitating the oozlum bird before presumably disappearing up their own exhaust pipes or something like that.
Players number 10s..I remember them well...They were from the days when smoking was still good for you..(and would get you a nice girlfriend and an exciting lifestyle).. ...How times change...Ian
