WD Matchless : Distance Collar for top fixing bolt – STD 632
Gentlemen,
Having tried to cure a tight spot on my 1941 Matchless WD primary chain, I found that the gearbox was not set in position. After a careful review of the Parts List I saw that I had missed my Distance Collar for top fixing bolt – STD 632. Very simple design and I can turn one using my lathe here. Please give me approximate thickness. I can find the hole diameter.
What is the thread for the eye-bolts? Totally knackered and have been using the wrong nuts and for “Eye Bolt for Chain Adjustment – STD 594” what is the approximate length of the threaded section? Mine was touching the oil bolts and I cut off a piece. Now it is too short and wouldn’t accommodate the second nut.
