I need a ribbed rear guard for my M20 and have found a company here in Australia that can make them, they specialise in steel motorcycle reproduction guards.
They have templates but I need to know some dimensions to be sure they are supplying the correct one.
Their template has 70mm of rib on the tail section and 595mm of rib on the main section. The width is a bit confusing as they have two widths, 147mm and 152mm.
I was wondering if someone has a guard that they could do some quick measurements or even better if someone has one not fitted to a bike if they could e-mail me some photos so I can send them to the manufacturer.

I've had my M20 for 35 years and the time has come to restore it "properly"
I'm no expert but I would think that the two differing sizes are to allow the tail section over the main body but I think 70 mm rib is a bit excessive, I would have thought somewhere in the region of 30-40mm would be about the ridge size, the 595mm would be the total length of the guard, I would think.
