I will give it a try, checked some partlists and quite sure that it mainly used on the 500 'light' models from 1930 and 31. These models had the about the same topend as the Slopers but placed vertically and a much lighter frame.
The Sloper and V-twin forks had an extra horizontal strenghtening tube between the two tubes. Middle one:

Thanks very much everyone for your help. I spent the last week looking through google images of different makes to try and find out what they were off with no success.
They are early 30's 30-31 light weight they suit l30-11 350 S 30-12 500 or S30-18 and 19 light 500 the OHV with basically the flat tank bottom end.
