Interesting photo of a very early G3 Matchless which appears to be from contract C2073 dated 26/09/38. Telltale signs are the twin down tube pre-war Matchless frame and large civilian type rear number plate. As they were delivered to Feltham I assume they were supplied to the RASC? Can anyone fill me in on details of the rider and uniform? JT

It was indeed an RASC contract and in this case the rider looks to have beeen with the Corps.
