Re: Just two sunday afternoon pictures....

Unusual census numbers in the second photo. From a batch 'Allocated to Czech forces'

Re: Just two sunday afternoon pictures....

The bike in the first picture has a similar number (starting with C12), and there's a "CS" on the rear mudguard tip!

Picture 1: Members of SPO (Mixed Recce Unit, Czechoslovak Mixed Brigade), pvt. Oldrich Kasparek and cpl. Oldrich Gottwald in Cholmondeley in 1940

Picture2: Lt.Col. Vladimir Prikryl commander of the 2nd Infantry batt. and Pvt. Gabriel Rappensberger showing his M20

I have some odd 6 or 7 more pictures from this batt. with their BSA's, will post them sometime this week...

Re: Just two sunday afternoon pictures....

Here's one of the doors in the stables of Cholmondsley Castle, that were used as kitchens by the Czechs.

I have most of the pictures with the Big 4 Nortons the Czechs also used there.

Cheers,
