How remove speedo drive gear fit to front hub?

Just take off nut 48 and washer(s) 47 and pull it off. It might get jammed on the two drive dogs or the axle. But nothing else holds it on. Ron

Ah maybe he does? I might have jumped the gun in assuming he meant a normal M20. A bit more information about make/model/year would have helped Ron
