I will be going to Netley Marsh on Friday so I will bring a supply of solid copper head gaskets with me, just in case anyone should need them, I will be wearing a wide rimmed hat with Town twinning badges on plus service corps badge (of coarse), no rose in the lapel this time
I think a few of us crowd will be there tomorrow ! I need to liaise with Ron, plus hopefully see old friends Rob Miller, Ian and Horror too..............I will be along with Terry (Metal Magic).......
Unfortunately I'm not going to make it this time I really enjoy catching up with everyone there but we are away this weekend. Try to have fun without me... I know that you'll all be sad

We did, we did !
It's quite possible to have fun without the dilettantes of the old motorcycle scene !
Just back from Beaulieu and Netley Marsh, a super weekend of shopping and meeting old friends, sorry I missed you Steve but I have a habit of wandering from my stall in search of adventure.
I would post a picture of my purchases but I would hate to upset Rik any further.
Ha Ha Rob !!! I also missed you, plus Ian, but met up with other friends including Ron, Rik, Jan, Leon, etc...........I spent the day with Terry and things worked out well........especially with Ron's "Pony Express" system of delivering and collecting parts/delivery.............I think Terry thoroughly enjoyed his day out away from the manic workshop for a change........he's 74 and works too bloody hard, still.........
I had a few good finds myself, so well pleased..............
Go on Rob, what did you find ? You can't possibly annoy Rik........:-)
Ps - I will be at Shepton with Terry too later this month.........
Hi folks I was at nettley and met a trader selling nos m20 parts that were her recently (well thats the feeling I got) departed husbands stock, his name was Geoff myers. Unfortunately for her he left no details about email accounts so she gave me her own email. Well in the deluge at the end of Beaulieu on Saturday my paperwork got soaked and I lost the beginning of her email address. Is there anyone here who knows Geoffs wife name as this looks like the first part of her email and it's this bit I don't have.
Thanks Grahame
A quick search of Geoff Myers on Google shows his obituary. His wife's name is Jil Myers. Is this the Geoff Myers that sells classic motorcyles spares..? If so, here are his contact detail from his website.
The best method of contact is by email.

I see the website says due to unforeseen circumstances the shop is suspended :-(
Yes Horror that is the right Geoff. I bought an M20 cylinder liner off Jill on Friday and I had a bit of a chat with her. Geoff was the younger brother of Les at Russell Motors. His death was very sudden and his wife is trying to carry on with the stock with the help of her son. Nether have anywhere near the knowledge of Geoff or Les, but at least they are trying to get the stock out there. She told me that a part number will always help. Ron
Hi Horror
Thanks I didn't think to check the obituaries. The reason for the name search was, unfortunately for Jill, Geoff did not leave his passwords for his email so she cannot get emails through the one on the website and she gave me her own.
Thanks Ron for the extra info I didn't know that, i know of russles and their stock, but it was nice to be able to get nos bits at the show and speak face to face to a seller and not have the postage cost to Ireland.
Thanks for the help
Grahame
