Would a Matchless G3 from C178 still have the early tank fitted with the instrument panel ?
I know they replaced it around this contract or the next.

Scott, your bike would have been fitted with the early panel tank. The panel tank was also fitted to the first 256 machines of the following contract. I keep a database of surviving WD Matchless machines so would be grateful for a note of the frame and engine number of your bike. Cheers John Tinley
