I don't see anything online sold that matches the two gaskets I have for my tank cap. What do you guys do to replace these? Cut your own?

Both seems like cardboard/paper. Looks like the big main gasket was cut in the middle for some reason. Perhaps it's not original which is why I can't find one that matches?

Please give me a tip or direct me to where to find some new ones of these easily.




I've got a bunch of gasket materials to cut my own, cork, rubber, paper. Would rather save the trouble if these are easily obtained and I can't find them.

If you do a search in the box at top right for Robb Nortier (user) He's in US and has made oil and petrol cap gaskets in leather. Ask him about his other BSA tools also. Ron

I made my own out of an old leather briefcase.

It works reasonably well!
