She's alive!

First of all, many thanks to all the people who helped me out with parts and advice. Especially Greg Marciniec, Hussein, Ian Wright, Steve Madden, Ray Schollick, Henk and Draganfly who seem to be able to supply whatever I needed. Here, I present to you, my latest restoration. Still more work to do but she's a runner and mostly original. (Rivet counters, please avert your eyes). A 1941 matching numbers WM20 which, hopefully, will become my daily runner.

Re: She's alive!

Very nice, Cas.

Enjoy and ride safely.

Noam.

Re: She's alive!

Sweet looking bike! Also interesting to see that it does in fact look ok with the modern Roadriders(?) on it.

Re: She's alive!

Congratulations! It's a good looking bike and you've worked hard to make it a rider. Enjoy!!

Re: She's alive!

I am impressed with people who use the bike as a daily driver!!
Would love that!

What tyres do you run it on? (smart for the purpose!)

Cheers, Jacco

Re: She's alive!

The Avon AM26 tires are a bit low profile but look ok. I'm limited in my choices here on a small island but can get these online.

I tend to use these on all my bikes. They wear very well, and most importantly, are sticky in the wet (it rains very often here). Have not done enough miles on the WM20 to comment on their suitability but I have a friend here that uses his WM20 on a very regular basis. He runs AM26 tires too and swears by them (the main reason I got these).
