Re: Jarek and friends during an M20 trip, great movie.
Great film! Such a joy to watch.
Makes me want to do the same thing, although I'm thinking it might be a bit to long way to from where I live. I did however go to the south of France via the Swiss alps by car once, a rusty beat up VW Passat from -76. Good fun but nothing like riding girder-M20s
Good job on the filming to, all those shots where the camera is on a hill above, bikes passing and so on. That takes some effort and ambition. Not just mounting a helmet cam and go for it.

what a fabulous little film, great to see the bikes the country, the riders, the mountains, the fun, the sheep and the terrific music - thanks for letting us see this. another reminder why we love our M20s!!
Re: Jarek and friends during an M20 trip, great movie.
Hi there, thank you for watching the film and all the flowers. Yes it makes really fun with the m20s. This was our 4th trip we made in the Alps. The first was 2012 and we had two bikes. We came down from Berlin by train (Cartrain), tho whole night beer and sleeping, in the morning we could start at Bozen , which is in the middle of the Alps. After the first few hundred meters on the way up to a 2000m pass in one engine the piston got stuck. We thought it was the end of the trip, but after a few Minutes, we could start the bike again. That happened another three times on that trip. We always find nice people, who cannot believe, that we are on a trip with these museumbikes. They invited us for a glass of wine and we had nice talks...One day we were stopped by the carabinieri (highway police) I could not believe, We were too fast? wow...The guys just wanted to see the bikes.. They are good Touring Bikes. and you all know, they are so easy to repair and reliable.. The best is, that they are so slow...(comparison to modern bikes) that means, everything is slow. Its always a trip into past, that is holiday.
Unfortunately they stopped that thing with the train. I think you can make the way from Berlin to Genova (1200km) But you need your full Holiday to get there and drive home. We only have 8-10Days off, So we put the Bikes always in VW-Buses and look for a base, where we can leave the car. some agritourismo or camping...then we start....
At the moment we have 4-5 usable Bsa M20, its like a virus. a friend comes to me, nice bike can i make a little ride ?...when he comes back: smile over the face. I need this...on the first trip we made some Fotos you can watch here:
The film was made with a simple Photocamera. the micro is bad and you always have wind noise on it...sorry, we didn't bring sound equipment to record the base line of the bSAs, so we put the nice music on it and for more atmosphere.
its no commercial its only a fun film. thanks for watching. Greetings to all, Jarek

I can see from your website that you work in and films and photo, which is what I sort of suspected from seeing your film. Been in that trade as well as an editor and maker of documentaries (political scientist nowadays) and even with the small camera no budget approach it was kinda obvious that you knew how to get good shots, variation i framing and so on.
This is no doubt one of the better "small scale, no budget" films I've seen!
(here's a motorcycle-film I worked on as an editor some years back https://youtu.be/kOrq9gzjjek )
