The best two hi temp paints , based on forty years of daily use, are Senotherm(German) packaged for various wood stove manufactures in the Netherlands best look for Jotul woodstoves, and forest paints ( USA ) is also excellent, sold in the UK under the Calfire brand name, there are silk finish and dead matt finishes , the silk finish lasts longer on our bikes than the matt,Forest paints also manufacture coloured paint, ,Avoid the barbecue paints that are sold by BnQ, And Stovax budget paint, unless it says senotherm on the tin, we sell on Ebay,in the UK only, under woodstoveshop.co.uk or you can ping me , I cannot send post off the UK mainland Just my 2pworth andrew

RON - sorry, you are right - thinking of the 3hw and not silver exhausts.
One thing i do know and that surface prep is vital for any of the high temperature paints - at least your exhaust will not be old rusty chrome or something.
Rough up the surface with emery, degrease and apply any of the VHT paints - as per the instructions - usually build up thin coats and bake (blowlamp down each end).
