A dipstick wiper that's making a tool for the sake of it isn't it, what's wrong with a bit of tissue

Not everyone carries a box of tissues for every eventuality, Mr. H and it's not considered polite to wipe it on the curtains...

Actually, these things sell ;-

A clear example of the eBay effect bringing others out of the woodwork as I'd never heard of 'em until last week. Despite having a very nice Romac tin, I can't help searching for 'em..you too eh, Rob ?

Re: Another usefull workshop tool

Hi Rik

Every now and then when I think about it I look for Romac tins, I still need several more and I don't have a nonrusty one yet.

Re: Another usefull workshop tool

Rob, surely no-one 'needs' a seventy-five year old puncture repair kit ?

I can't resist them either, nor mica KLGs and tins

Re: Another usefull workshop tool

Its so easy to confuse "need" with "want", I must try and use the later more.

But obviously I do still "need" my anvil. But no one can possibly "need" a dipstick wiper, can they?

Re: Another usefull workshop tool

I was going to ask where the dipstick is on an M20... But that might be a leading question
