I noticed in your reply to Chris re his frame number, you mentioned that there was a possibility that the bike may have been sent to Australia. My enquiry here is, how do you get hold of this type of information? I would be curious to check out the history of mine. Any assistance would be appreciated

Roger, the factory records for pre-and early-war bikes generally still exist and a number of us have access to copies. Quantity and quality of information varies (and some is conflicting !)
