I am a bit confused. Now I have the engine- and g.box sprocket both with 19 t. The manual and the technical section tell different. Engine 19 t and g.box 18 t. or engine 18 t and g.box 19 t.
By the way, my Indian speedo gives me 5 km. p/u extra
If you are talking about a WD M20 then the sprockets will make no difference to the speedo as it's off the front wheel. I have no idea what you do with a gearbox driven speedo when you change sprocket sizes Ron
What I was asking is if an M20 can pull alright on a 19 tooth gearbox sporocket. I just don't want to have to change down on every slight incline I hit.
As I mentioned earlier my M20 has 19T on both "sides" without trouble. I do not know any better since I bought the bike in 1968
The question was because of the speedo.
