The flyboy micro light flyers are a good source of rev counters, temp gauges , waterproofed GPS, etc. etc.
As they are not considered to be real aircraft, they escape the FAA requirement for certified instrumentation - hence the stuff can be cheap 9an Chinese...) - as opposed to bloody expensive for the 'real' things!!!
Just re-fitting TrailTech speedo/rpm/temp gauge to ES2 tonight, for forthcoming IOM week.
Might try and see if the fitted pushbike speed sensor can be used with the TrailTech - say swapping this around all the time, as its only a read switch/magnet jobbie.
