Hi all of you. I am from Germany an bought an BSA M20 last year. Very nice bike!
Now i drove a view times without problems but yesterday first time i could not start bike again. It looks like i have no problems when i start cold but when the engine gets hot i dont get bike going. I dont know what i can do i cleaned carb and tank.......what else could it be?!
Also when i drove i lost power and drove only with minimal gas 5 minutes before engine stopped, i also think engine gets hot a lot.

Have your magneto rewound....

Or try your fuel cap first. There could be a vacuum.

Sounds like the magneto is failing. Try closing the plug gap down to about 10 thou, if it runs better then its the magneto needs a rebuild.

Too lean a mixture and no spacer between carb and barrel??
