I am fixing the front wheel of my Matchless G3L. For reasons the wheel is not aligning in the center. It appears that the wheel is moved to the right thereby rubbing against the mudguard. All parts on the axle are original.
Also wanted to know if there is a washer on the right of the axle. (Opposite to brake side)
What all should I check?
There is a spacer between the brake plate and fork. This will position the hub centrally between the forks. There is a gap on the right side. The wheel spindle clamps will hold it in place. It sounds like your rim offset might be wrong. Ron
