Got an e-mail with the title "Moto inglese BSA m20" from "janne@jarvelainen.name" containing nothing but a link. I don't know anyone with that name or that domain. Naturally, I won't open the link since it may be a virus. Has anyone else received such an e-mail?

I haven't had one.

Perhaps this open forum does leave us vulnerable to attack especially if we post our emails, some of us have added security features to our emails so they can't just be copied and pasted, but can still be deciphered.

However the strengths of this forum are its openness and common sense attitude and I for one hope it continues.

I've not had that one..though I've had similar in the past...

I understand the Golden rule is not to open e mail links if you are unsure who the e mail is from, as that is the way the virus enters the system...I just delete them...

Fact is your information is out there held on multiple systems..Either supplied directly by you or passed on/sold by someone you gave it to..
