Just been watching the ITV series Home Fires. There is a part where a telegrame is delivered by a GPO courier. Is the bike he's riding a James ML? This episode is set just before Dunkirk, would the bike have had a 'Proper' black out mask?It looks a very tidy bike,is it a forum members bike?

I went cross-eyed last night trying to ID this bike on catch-up.

I dont think its an ML, its gloss brown and as far as I could spot the name had some kind of wings around it.

Certainly a Villiers engine and a civvy type black out mask

Hi Ken, it was the engine that made me think that it was an ML. The speedo looked like it worked off some type of disc with teeth on it, or was that the brake
