ariel wng frame no ?

hi everyone ,may have the chance to purchase another wng .frame no is xg14746 .looked in british forces book but can,t find the no .can anyone shed some light on this ,please.the bike has 8,, headlight top damper knob and rubber mounted handlebars .also field stand lug on frame .cheers

Hi Bob,
A bit lonely having an interest in W/NGs :-). I see that you don't have an answer to your question. Obviously a 1940 frame but because it does not appear in the Despatch books means it was most likely a spare frame just as there are spare engines etc., in every contract. No less a vital and important part of military history. Hope you get it and then start the search for the rest :-).
