Is the ammeter AM19021 on http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/goffyelectrex.htm a good replacement for the original CZ27 one in my headlight ? Mine has the tabs nearly broken off , and I want to replace it.

Lucas still make them. See lucasclassicmotorcycle.com/products.html

No doubt the rivet counters will have a field day, but they are Lucas, the bezels can always be replated or painted and you can use the print of the face from Steve Madden. See WD ammeters on this site.

The new Lucas ones measure 1 3/4" while my original is 1 /5/8"
So I'm looking for a pattern 1 5/8" in order to save my original one
