Its not the actual "Vokes C1a Protectomotor Air Cleaner" filter you (and several others) are looking for.
Its to small and connected to nothing as well, or used to dampen the riders farts?
I would have liked it better if it was mounted on a BSA.
This is embarrassing for all Norton riders.
It probably appeals to others but its a lot of bullocks.
Not even the Canadians made it that stupid although I did see another 16H with siren but it was a clearly a restoration and I could not make out when it was applied.
A "show off" with lots of phantasy disregarding any historic information.
I wonder who will fall for it.
Definitly interesting is the frame spare parts brass plate.
It would never have been fixed to the toolbox though. Never seen one of those.
Not very much needed to make it a proper bike. Losing those handlebar controls (except valve lifter), siren, filter, bags, flame trap, rear mudguard piece, sidecar and applying an MCR1 and proper tail light and you are basically correct. (Not to mention the numberplate)
