I am in the process of reassembling my 43 WD20 and I have looked through the forum as well as on the web for the proper location of the controls on the handle bars. This bike is in post war configuration and was last overhauled in Germany by the REME in 1953.

Is there a correct placement on the bike's handlebars that was outlined by the military? I am looking at locating the following:

Timing advance
Horn
Dipper Switch
Exhaust valve bypass
Carb choke

I have seen horns mounted by themselves and others mounted on the back side of the lever and all sorts of configurations in different pictures.

If anyone could list the controls from left to right as you are sitting on the bike, that would be ideal.
