All other considerations aside I admire their commitment to the bikes, their obvious love of old machines and the determination to keep it all going...a good bit of film....Ian

Awesome. They have the spirit. A little capitalization would go a long way to helping them get onto proper work benches. Won't be quite as hard on them for their finished product from now on.

Workshop conditions seem better than mine. A lot more organised too.

I thought I'd changed the channel when they veered onto cock fighting!
They're not shy dropping the f bomb either
Great clip though, would love to visit there one day

Re: Some insight into Indian manufacturing (documentary)

No one can deny the ingenuity and skill of someone who can hand craft something whilst sat cross legged in the sand with little more than a hammer and rock for tools. I was amazed by it during my short time in Africa. Undoubtedly they can keep the old bikes rolling.
However my own experience of the stuff they churn out on a more mass produced basis is that it doesn't fit properly and/or the material used is not fit for purpose. They have the skills but don't seem to want to put them to proper use. I've seen offers to make tin parts for any motorcycle from just a picture of the part......Beautiful as it might be, it probably wont fit, unless you actually give them the bike to work with! Ron
