Dear all

I am trying to remove HT slip ring on MO1 magneto. I discontinue to proceed due to the doubt of removing metode. Any idea how to remove it safely ? ( no damage on fibre slip ring ).

Theo, that is not the slip ring! But that thing just slides off once you have removed the bearing. To do that is another matter, special bearing puller, or if bearing is a goner already, grind halfway, and hit with sharp chisel, then that will slide off easily.

Not that one. It is ring to transfer high voltage to spark plug lead.

I have removed the bearing but the slip ring is very tight, could not remove with hand. I tried to googling and got the idea to remove it. It clamped with fabricated aluminum then pull with puller. I notice that I have to do it carefully otherwise the insulator will crack.
