Gumtree Sale - YCJ529 SCAM

Please be very careful about using GUMTREE and your accounts, my BSA M20 was advertised on GUMTREE and has been sold 23 times by a scammer who has been phishing my account.

My bikes reg is YCJ529, if anyone finds any adverts for this bike on the internet then please contact me or the Fraud Office (Telephone: 0300 123 2040)and quote reference NFRC141100851478.

Sorry to hear that...Where there's money there's a fiddle...It's the same everywhere and the internet has opened up a world of possibilities for 'scum'mers...

Looking on the bright side at least you know if you do want to sell there'll be some buyers... ....Ian

Thankfully we haven't financially lost anything but they're selling it for £2000 for cash or BACS payment to a Damian Domanski, or pen name in email correspondance 'ALICE', it's email address is 'alice@stbicloud.co.uk'.

It just goes to show you, that if you think its to good to be true, it usually is!

There is a scammer currently flooding dundee craiglist with tempting but non existent bike parts. any detailed questions or offers to go & collect quickly reveals it's a thief but wouldn't be surprised if people have sent their money.
