for Henk: Slip ring

Hi Henk
Last June you (and Ian and Jim and Roger and Ken) helped me on the problem I had in Normandy with my magneto when hot.

You were right it was the slip ring.
I have sent the magneto to Bill Brown at the French Branch of Brightsparkmagneto.com and he has done a great job. Checking all the things in a very short time. Can you immagine that he is based near to Carentan...I was at 15 miles far from his location last June :-((

Anyhow, Yesterday I finished to reassemble it and did a 50 miles ride. Then stopped her and after a while, she started again without problem.

Hi Daniel,

Good to hear that you solved the overheating problem with your BSA. I can still see you riding around the camp-site when we were getting ready for the Guinness book of record run.
