Exactly what I wanted to ask too..
Is that an "Alton" rectifier for an alternator,
Or a solid-state regulator for a dynamo?...
A very nice bike!
I know a guy, which restored a WM20, but not in a military outfit. he did it red.
The guy polished the engine, the carb, painted it in deep red, and it really in a showroom condition.
The problem is that he liked so much the way it came, that he did not ever
Fill any fluids in it, or ever got it started.
I hope you would !
It is indeed a reg/rec for the Alton I've fitted Keith and Noam.. I will be riding this bike too Noam when finished. I hope to possibly ride it to the BSAOC International in Denmark next year..
Sam. Mine is fitted to the WD/G that I am currently preparing. The bike came with an original MT110 base that was fitted with a repro lens cap. Now all is as it should be.
