HI Can anyone tell me where the felt washer goes on the rear wheel spindle and what it is for? Regards Pat

Hi Pat, Felt washers at hub and break drum (15-7048, 15-7059) Are there on both sides, in order to prevent sand and dust from entering Into the hub and grind the bearings. If well oiled, should also block water, at least momentarily. LOOK HERE Noam.

What is the difference in left hand and right hand felt spacers?

I think there is some difference in dimensions. The sprocket side is a bit big in diameter, if I am not mistaken.. Noam.
