Nice pic of a rider on a Triumph H, but what are the disc's fitted to either side of the front hubs and one on the belt side of the rear hub. Look like water or mud deflectors to me, but never seen any like this before. I know that Triumph made a front gutter type of mudguard front stay to divert water running down the stay and getting in or near the wheel cone bearings. Great picture with lots of detail.
I'm sure he was a brave guy etc, but this miserable old git, is also putting me off my porridge. i love coming to the site for a break from work, but he is such a miserable looking old sod, i'm becoming nervous. Could we have a new picture -- please!!! all best all, peter
thanks v much for the new picture!!! it may be a coincidence, but it is still good to get it.
Is the DR saying, 'Why have they put this bleeding search light on us? There's no way that the SS grenadiers aren't going to open fire now!!' Meanwhile the radio operator is saying, 'For god's sake could you bugger off as quickly as possible, then I've got a chance of surviving and getting one of those post war M20s you always go on about!!"
was the conversation something along those lines??
I think it is a pre war Ariel, with valanced guards and a panel tank. The Wireless is a WS11 set. Henk could you send me a high resolution copy of this picture please.
