At the end of the Weymouth Veterans parade this year a veteran told me about his unit teaching motorcycle training in Germany after the war, he insisted on giving me this picture saying that he had other copies, so here it is.
Nice photo, thanks for sharing it with us. With the new YE Key Cards Lex bought we will be able to find out some more about this BSA.
I volunteered to scan these cards and put them in an Excel file as we already did earlier with the other key cards. Copies of these YE cards will be available from Lex.
I Have a 1941 WM20 with the reg number found under the civilian plates (pride & clark) 06 YE 85 would be interested on any information on my bike....Dave
Yes, I'm here, but going on holliday soon! 06YE85 is in the cards, with 2 crossed out (but readable) frame numbers, and the number 53879, does that tally?
The one from the picture Rob posted, 11YE69 was struck off the force on 31-10-1957 at B.A.O.R. Germany, framenumber was 27160.
Now for the costs, I had to pay a considerable amount for these cards, so have to recover at least 2/3rds of them, so have to ask a 20 pound fee for a search and scan of a whole card, with usualy 17 enries. (17 different bikes)
Here a sample;
The RLC museum asks a total of 45 pounds, and they do not have this info at all.

Another image from the same veteran who gave me the picture at the start of this thread, I took this when I met him the year before and had forgotten all about it.
Kevin, should be, but Henk has everything at the moment, will get it back soon, he'll probably answer here, otherwise shoot him an email, payment to me though!!
