Douglas,the large gear has 43 teeth,stamped on it is P.25218.43T.with a clockwise arrow indicating R/H thread.Small gear has 14 teeth,no stampings.Thats for the army 16H with the brake drum on the left.I think the civilian nortons with the brake drum on the right had a L/H thread on the large gear with a anticlockwise arrow.I got the small gear from Modak earlier this year.Sam.

Thanks for the valuable information Sam. Too easy to blow money on ebay buying the wrong thing and then trying to move it on again.
