I'm really stuck for a 9 guage spoke nipple for the front wheel of my Matchless. I did my own wheel using genuine spokes but when I put it in I didn't get the offset right, so I moved the rim over and accidentally stripped the nipple, so I'd be grateful if anyone has one lying around. It sounds a bit of a ridiculous request, but 9 guage spokes are now completely obsolete and consequently the nipples are unobtanium as now most people now replace them 8 guage ones. I'd change the whole lot if I hadn't already built the wheel!
Hi, it's just the nipple I'm after. I'm not sure of the internal diameter of them, but it should equate to whatever 9 guage is on the SWG chart so if you can find an old spoke in that diameter then try to see if you have a nipple to fit it, I asked my wheel builder if he had any lying about......... He just laughed, apparently they were old fashioned and a "none preferred size" even back then
